Skin boosters are injectable treatments designed to improve the quality and appearance of the skin from within. Unlike dermal fillers, they are not primarily intended to add volume or change facial contours. Instead, they focus on supporting hydration, elasticity, smoothness and overall skin vitality.

Skin boosters use different formulations depending on their intended purpose. 

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is one of the most commonly used ingredients, particularly for 

hydration and skin quality. Other products may contain polynucleotides (PN), amino acids, peptides, vitamins or other bioactive ingredients, designed to support different aspects of skin health and rejuvenation.

The injection approach also differs from traditional dermal fillers. Depending on the product, skin boosters may be delivered using a specific injection pattern or through multiple small, superficial injections across the treatment area. For example, Profhilo® is commonly administered using its established five-point BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points) technique, while many other skin boosters are delivered through small amounts injected at multiple points to distribute the product evenly through the skin.

Each has its own formulation, characteristics and  price  point.  Having  a  range  of  options allows me to choose a treatment that is appropriate  not  only  for  your  skin  and  treatment  goals,  but also for your individual circumstances and budget.
