PLATELET-RICH PLASMA TREATMENT (P.R.P.)

USING YOUR OWN PLATELETS TO SUPPORT NATURAL REPAIR

PRP Also sometimes known as a “Vampire Facial

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) uses your own blood rather than a manufactured injectable product. A small amount  of  blood  is  collected  and  processed  in a centrifuge to separate its different components and concentrate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP). The PRP contains platelets and naturally occurring growth factors,  which  can  then  be  introduced  into  selected  areas  to  support  the  skin’s  natural  repair and regenerative processes.

What makes PRP different is that it is autologous — it comes from you.  Rather than introducing a single manufactured ingredient, PRP concentrates your own platelets and the naturally occurring growth factors and proteins within your plasma. These biological components play important roles in tissue repair, cell signalling and regeneration.

This makes PRP a particularly natural approach to skin and scalp rejuvenation. Unlike conventional skin boosters,  which  deliver  selected  ingredients  such  as  hyaluronic acid or other formulated compounds, PRP uses a complex combination of your own biological components to support the body’s natural repair processes.

PRP  can  be  used  in  aesthetic treatments to support  skin quality, collagen production, texture and overall skin rejuvenation. It can also be incorporated into scalp and hair treatment programmes.

The way PRP is delivered can be adapted according to the treatment area and your individual needs. It may  be  introduced  through  multiple  small  injections,  or applied using  micro-needling  to create

controlled stimulation across a wider area. Different techniques may also be combined where appropriate.

For scalp treatments, PRP may be incorporated into a wider approach to support the scalp environment and hair follicles. It can also be considered as part of post-hair-transplant care.

Your treatment begins with a consultation and assessment to determine whether PRP is appropriate for you and which method of application is most suitable.

The aim is to support your body’s own repair and renewal processes

                                   — helping improve skin or scalp health gradually and naturally.
