Facial acupuncture is one of my specialist areas and a distinctive part of my practice.

It is a traditional Chinese Medicine approach to facial rejuvenation, using carefully selected acupuncture points to support facial wellbeing and a naturally refreshed appearance.

MY EXPERIENCE & APPROACH

Throughout my clinical practice, I have continued to learn, refine and develop my approach to facial acupuncture.

My technique brings together traditional Chinese acupuncture principles with techniques influenced by Korean cosmetic acupuncture, combining local facial stimulation with a broader TCM approach to the whole body.

This allows me to work on both  the face and the underlying balance of the body,  creating a more comprehensive approach to facial rejuvenation and wellbeing.

Each treatment is individually tailored, with the techniques and acupuncture points selected according to your needs and overall presentation.

Rather than treating the face in isolation, facial acupuncture considers the face as part of the whole person.

Acupuncture points may be selected on the face and elsewhere on the body according to your individual TCM        

assessment.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your treatment begins with a consultation and individual assessment.

Fine, sterile cosmetic acupuncture needles, specially designed for facial treatments, are used. Their ultra-fine diameter helps minimise discomfort, while their soft and delicate structure requires a high level of skill and precision to handle. Points may be selected on the face or elsewhere on the body according to your individual assessment.

You may experience a brief sensation as the needles are inserted, followed by a feeling of heaviness,  relaxation or warmth. 

Your response is considered throughout treatment, and the approach can be adjusted as your needs change.

PERSONALISED TO YOU

There is no standard facial acupuncture treatment that suits everyone.

Your  treatment  may  be  used on its own or combined with other Traditional Chinese Medicine or modern aesthetic approaches where appropriate.

The aim is not to change your face, but to enhance its natural appearance while supporting balance and wellbeing.
